Survivalist by Circumstance Volume Seven eBook Cheryl L Cholley
This series of episodes has been intentionally building to the Breakdown, the Collapse, call it what you will, as the country deals with soaring fuel prices, massive unemployment and growing food shortages. Darrell and Mallory have so far been able to shield their family from the bulk of this mounting desperation, but as we saw in Episode Six at the Farmers Market, the cracks are beginning to be seen even in rural America. I find this slow, gradual slide to be more realistic and scarier. This episode begins with a frantic phone call and results in a mad dash to San Francisco, and we definitely get a dose of the action fans have been clamoring for earlier. We learn that Rick is more than a talker, and the action is fast-paced and shockingly realistic. Along the way, we learn more about the crumbling state of the union and at least some of what the government plans to do to stem the tide. With this episode, we see the first of Mrs. Cholley's expanded volumes and the dash to San Fran is only the first of several interesting events taking place in the course of the tale, but I will avoid any more spoilers.
If you can hold out, the author plans to bundle these first seven episodes into Book One but for me I was willing to spend the 99 cents to stay up-to-date. All in all, a thoroughly satisfying episode. My only complaint is the teaser for the next set of episodes hints at waaaaay more action to come, and now I have to wait.

Survivalist by Circumstance Volume Seven eBook Cheryl L Cholley Reviews
Great new author. This is a good series and I can't wait for the new episodes to come out! I wish it was all together in one book!
I read Vol. 8 first, was hooked on the series so went to Vol. 7. These books are thought provoking. Would recommend to anyone interested in survival.
A really good read! I like Cholley's writing style. I've read all her "Survivalist" books so far. I plan to get the rest of the volumes.

Along with other readers of this series I am eagerly waiting for the next book. The writer is skillful, the characters are portray realistically as are the scenarios. An "end of the worlds as we know it" series.
Good characterizations, good prepper ideas woven into the story line, and a well-spun story of how America could fall apart.
It is also hopeful that there can still be quality life out in the countryside, albeit a different life with a different economy.
I have been a fan of these short stories from the start. Waiting for each new story is like waiting to open a nice gift from a good friend. Each one is very rich in daily life of a close family that I wish I lived next door to if TSHTF. I enjoy the ideas that would help anyone in tough times. Very well written and has just the right amount of edge to keep the story moving forward. Big fan and will keep buying each short when they come out.
Darrell's farmers market is a VERY bad idea, just a neon sign saying come kill me and take my food. You see the results in your teaser for the next chapter when Darrell gets shot. The ( better weapons ) issue needs to be resolved. A few 30/30's are not going to do the trick when the mob shows up at the front gate. Also ammo is going to be a BIG factor. Author should read TJ REEDERS road books it will give some insight on real prepping. All in all story is getting better. John
